Verdict

MASTER FAY (1) has a great first-up record of 3 wins and a placing from 5 starts. Snagged back to last and ran through the line well under a hold in his latest trial. Expect a big run. RAREZA (11) got well back but loomed up and finished too well for a good win at Otaki when first-up last month. Scratched at Otaki last week due to the track upgrade so doesn't want a firm track. TWAIN (4) better effort last start but couldn't catch the leader at Tauranga last week. Has 2 wins and 2 placing this track and trip. Respect. JETHRO TULL (12) no luck when held-up on the turn and blocked again half way down the straight 2 starts back then tough run outside the leader & battled well last start. Due a change of luck. TARDELLI (3) fought on well for 3L 4th to Well Written in the G1 Proisir Plate then ran on nicely for 2L 4th in the G3 Sprint at Hastings. Include again here.
