Verdict

LA DORADA (1) was a G1-winning juvenile who failed to settle in early in the season over in Australia, and has been given a freshen up. She can get her season back on track here, and with the benefit of a 7lbs claim, she is the one to beat. YOUSITO (7) resumed from a spell and posted a gritty win at Avondale just over 5 weeks ago. She has had a quiet trial since then, and has the scope to measure up in this better field. TO BRAVERY BORN (2) won a nice race fresh up at Taupo by a nose, and then was a touch weak in the Whanganui Guineas after that on a track that was probably heavier than he would have liked. He was third in a recent trial behind a nice type, and with Opie Bosson in the saddle, from the pole position, he can give this a shake. TO CAP IT ALL (3) was unsuited by the heavy track in the G1 2000 Guineas at Riccarton, and then tried hard last week when runner-up in the Bonecrusher Stakes at Pukekohe. Go again. GET ME AN ANGEL (4) steps up in class, but can cope. Include.
