KAHULUI (1) charged home through the pack when finishing second by a nose on debut at Te Aroha nearly 3 weeks ago, and the extra ¼f to travel here could make all the difference to this promising gelding. He can settle a tad closer in the running this time, and we think he can go one better. WISE CHOICE (2) was an impressive trial winner before making up a lot of late ground to finish third on debut at Cambridge-synthetic just over 2 weeks ago. The rise from 4 ?f to 6f is the key for us, and his first win is not far away. PROMINERE (8) cruised home when winning trial prior to needing the run fresh up at Ellerslie 7 weeks ago. She has had another quiet trial since then, and can make amends here. THAT'LL DO (3) is a 6YO gelding making his debut, and he looks to be worth the wait after winning a recent trial this month very comfortably. Follow the market moves. WITHALLMYGRACE (5) has battled since finishing second by a nose fresh up at Avondale in April. She is worth another chance.
