Verdict

SINBIN (4) loves it here, and all of her 3 wins on this track have been over this trip. She needed her fresh up run at Otaki 3 weeks ago, and with the aid of a kilo claim, she will be hard to hold out. IMA BRAZEN ONE (2) steadily improved in each of her 3 runs back from a spell, winning the most recent of those at Otaki. She has won on this track in the past, and an extra 4lbs should not be enough to stop her from going close to repeating the dose. PRIORESS (5) has been an honest winter performer for a long time, and she did enough when posting a rare win by a head at New Plymouth 2 weeks ago. She likes it here, which is a big advantage, and with 8lbs less to carry, she may even win again. MAGAWA (8) is a lightly tried 7YO with plenty of talent when he is right. He resumes with 2 trials under his belt, and if he is not a run short, he can give this a big shake. Check the market. TOLSTOY (6) has yet to miss a cheque in 3 starts on this track. He might need it, but include in combos.
