DEALT WITH (10) is a very progressive gelding who was good enough to be stakes placed twice as a lightly tried 3-year-old. He ran on too late for third fresh up at Otaki 2 weeks ago, and if 6f is not too short for him, he can have the last say. TROBRIAND (6) trekked South and ran the gamest of seconds at Riccarton in the Stewards Stakes just over 4 weeks ago. There are no fitness concerns fourth up from a spell, and he can break his win drought here. INSATIABLE (11) is a stablemate of the second pick, who finished third in the same race behind that runner last time out. He has been placed on this course in the past over this trip, which is an advantage, and he would not be a shock winner. SILENT IS GOLD (3) has brought his good sprinting form from Singapore, and he hardly runs a bad race. He is resuming with a couple of soft trial wins under his belt, and he will be hard to hold out. REWARD SMILE (4) needed the run fresh up in the G3 Counties Bowl, and he is expected to improve.
