FLORENZA (1) has finished third on this track in both of her runs back from a spell, and finally gets a decent draw this time. She is close to her peak fitness, and she should go close to taking this out. BETHANY DEE (15) was very unlucky when finishing eighth at Avondale last time out over 6f. The extra 1f is the key here. Hard to beat. LA CADIERE (9) is making progress in her initial prep and is coping with her races being nicely spaced out. She was runner-up at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago when hanging in the run home, and with a shower or two of rain, she will be hard to hold out. WEE NESSY (14) put in a nice run at Ellerslie on debut, and then was a beaten favourite at Avondale last time out when racing greenly in tight quarters late in the run home. She will be spot-on third up and can set the record straight here. Follow your money. TRYPTIC (11) won a trial before finishing second as the favourite on debut at Pukekohe 4 weeks ago. Craig Grylls sticks with her, and so do we.
