G'DAY GOLDIE (11) has raced her way into some good form, and she is still in her initial prep. She cops a wide gate, which could help if the track is really chopped up on the inside, and her first win is not far away. GREEK ANTHOLOGY (1) is a promising gelding who ran his best race yet when finishing less than a length from the winner in second place at Whanganui just over 3 weeks ago. He has just needed time to put it all together, and he is nicely placed to go one better here. SWEET TORQUER (12) went down fighting fresh up when finishing second fresh up at Avondale, and then was a fair fourth at Ellerslie nearly 4 weeks ago. She benefits from a 4lbs claim, and she would relish a heavy surface. Stick with her on an each-way basis. ARTFUL DODGER (8) did well on debut from a wide gate, and he cops another nasty draw here. He has plenty of scope, and he can get the job done here at some nice odds. AIXOISE (13) just battled at Hawera last start, but from a good draw, she is a top 4 hope.
