THAT'S GOLD (1) was third here fresh up, and then rocketed home late for second at Ellerslie just over 3 weeks ago. This is his first time over a trip longer than 6f, and he only needs an ounce of luck to take this out. ARTHUR (2) was a sound sixth on debut in a good field at Ellerslie, and then improved sharply to finish runner-up by a neck at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago. He will be spot on third up, and if 7f is not already too short for him, then he can go one better. SNEAKY CYCLONE (3) ran on nicely for third at Avondale last time out, and is likely to get back here from a wide gate. He will be looking for the gaps to appear down the final straight, and is good enough to take them. Watch for him late. Each way. DROMMY (4) has been showing a lot of talent in both of his public trials to date. He has a good draw and is sure to have plenty of admirers. FLEETING STAR (9) is good form, and is perfectly drawn for her fourth career start. Stick with he on an each-way basis.
