NICCITA (10) is also in an earlier race, and whichever race she lines up in, she should go close to winning. Her 2 runs to date at Riccarton have been big efforts in deeper fields, so she goes on top. KIRCHMEYER (3) won a trial before fighting on gamely to finish sixth fresh up at Riccarton on a surface that was too testing for him. Expect him to finish a lot closer this time. Each way.
