FLYING SKY (7) looks the clearest winning option after resuming with a solid second at this track, beaten three lengths by Nagan Chueok, and he has now placed twice from five starts at the venue. His prior third behind Beolgyo Mabeopsa reads well for this grade, and the returning Masa Tanaka partnership adds further confidence. FANTASTIC BEACH (1) has not won from five starts, but her third two back at this track and a prior placing at the distance keep her right in the mix, especially with blinkers applied. OASIS TIME (2) was safely held first-up, though that run had more merit than the margin suggests after he conceded a big start, and he has scope to improve second-up for a leading stable. CAPTAIN WARRIOR (9) is harder to trust fresh after ending last campaign with a heavy defeat as favourite, but his earlier fourth when closing from well back gives him enough substance to be included among the chances.
