Korea Seoul - Race 1

SLING SMILE (8) owns the best race form after placing third at this venue over 5f on debut, and that race-day experience is a clear advantage against so many first starters. He settled handy, was prominent on the turn and, while beaten seven lengths by Morning Chief, still showed enough to set the standard. LUMINOUS (11) looks the main debut danger, with the Concord Point-Fiy Star profile backed by a strong winning family headed by Fire Sword and Geuma Passionate. CUPID LUCKY (10) has a wide draw to overcome, but Seo Bum Seok's first-starter record and the Colors Flying line keep him firmly in the winning discussion. WONPYEONG CAT (9) has R Maia aboard and a trainer-sire combination with a solid place return, so he appeals as the next most credible debutant if he handles the occasion.
