Verdict

CRESPIANO (5) has come along nicely this campaign, earning his shot at black type last start when finishing sixth in the LR Morphettville Guineas. Only carries half a kilo extra for a sharp drop in grade. Expecting him to manage these. CAPTAIN LOVE (8) progressed nicely second-up when sent forward at Balaklava, only gunned down late by Theodor, who has since run well in town. Expect him to hunt forward again from the wide draw and give a bold sight third-up. HOTCH POTCH (2) finds it hard to land his second winning blow but is knocking on the door and finds another suitable contest. Don't take lightly. LANDMARK ALLEY (3) has taken his time to build into this campaign but was good last time when beaten a neck at Balaklava. Draws well again and can keep his momentum rolling. KOHALA (9) finds the maiden win elusive but should be breaking through soon. Keep safe.
