EMOTIVE (6) started huge odds at debut and led until the final few hops when just tipped out at Gawler. Drawn the rails and expected to take catching again. JURA VAUDOIS (8) has had plenty of tries but recorded six minors. Holder goes aboard and has good speed so likely to be in this for a long way. RULED BY THIEVES (2) has been safely held in far richer maidens lately at Morphettville. Better off here and can improve sharply. ILLUSTRATES (7) was safely held on debut then improved at second outing when midfield. Has the claim and with further improvement can sneak into the finish. ABSINTHE (5) is a three start maiden yet to place but will find this easier and gets chance to improve.
