SANDASTAN (4) is the one to beat after a well-supported BM52 win at Manangatang, where he worked home over the top and scored by two lengths from Ginger Sweet. The rise from country company is the test, but his earlier BM60 third at Gawler, when beaten just under a length after racing wide, gives the form enough depth. Key runner. EAGLELOU (3) is the main danger, with his latest BM60 fourth at Gawler better than it reads after covering ground throughout, and he has enough wet-track form to stay in the argument. AITCH D'AMICO (1) drops back from BM64 Saturday company, has placed three times from four at this track and distance, and gets a 4lbs claim to help offset the top weight. Major player. NO MANS LAND (2) has been close enough in recent mile runs to be a genuine place hope, though 1 ¼m is new territory and the wide draw leaves him with something to answer.
