Verdict

ELEGANT MAN (3) has been freshened with 32 days after a flat effort at Great Western but his prior form reads well including his 9.5L demolition job at Kerang. Drops back to a winning trip and gets a great chance to atone. ARLO'S DREAM (1) showed good tactical speed and found plenty when shedding his maiden tag two back at Murray Bridge. Backs up quickly from a forgettable outing at Balaklava 3 days ago and can make amends. EXPLICABLE (4) gets a welcome drop in grade and can play a more significant role. The claimer stays on from a good draw and the rise in trip should suit. SHINOHARA (9) nearly caused a massive boilover here two back. Less effective last time but is worth keeping in mind under the light weight of the 7lbs claim.
