SMOTHER (6) is still chasing his second win but continues to race well and doesn't need to improve much to break through here. He draws ideally for Pannell and should be right in the thick of things when they quicken. LOMAX (4) produced a breath-taking first-up win here before failing to fire to the same level last start. He returns to his preferred venue and reunites with Rawiller. Underestimate at your own peril. HEAD OF THE HERD (1) is impossible to fault chasing a hat-trick after strong wins over the mile at his past two starts. The rise to 1 ?m shouldn't rouble him. OUR SASSY LADY (14) faces a challenge from the wide draw but brings ratings that measure up and can still make her presence felt with the right run. JOVIALE (3) also has to contend with a tricky gate but has the ability to feature if things fall into place.
