WINSTON'S PRIDE (7) has been knocking on the door over this trip, and despite a tricky gate, he does look to be well-placed again. Once the penny drops, he should win more than one race this year. MIRALAND (6) hit the line strongly for third here 3 weeks ago, and he will don the blinkers again for this similar assignment. Noel Callow sticks with him, and so do we. OR AM I (11) fought on courageously at Strathalbyn a fortnight ago, and her time is due. The pole position suits her racing style, and she deserves a winning turn. MANDARIN (10) only missed out by a head here 3 weeks ago on a heavy track, and a firmer surface would do her no harm this time. Stick with her. LAST WEEKS PAY (9) did nothing on debut but will find this easier. He is expected to finish a lot closer here.
