Verdict

SUPREME THUNDER (1) is knocking on the door but has just been lacking the winning blow. Drops back to a pet trip and reunites with Opperman who knows him to a tee. Will be blending into it beautifully at the top of the straight and will prove mighty tough to hold out. PRIVATE JET (2) has been beaten narrowly in his two runs back but should be hitting his straps now third-up over a trip he likes. Milnes sticking is another positive. Looks the main danger. MANDARA SUN (5) improved sharply third-up but found one better over 6f at Bordertown. No tougher this time and with added fitness she's right in the mix. TOES IN FIRST (3) was better second-up at Bordertown and has more to offer, though is drawn sticky. Watch for Crowther running on late.
