HARD LEAF (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish back in fourth on the dirt at Port Augusta. Goes much better on the turf and can bounce back sharply. BRUZANI (3) returns for the Chow camp and did go close here first-up last time in. If they can utilise the low draw, he's right in the mix. SUNSET PRAYER (9) got too far back two back at Naracoorte but did make late inroads. Was much better last time at Bordertown when chasing soundly into fifth. Can give this a big shake if she puts it all together. MR FERRARI (12) steps out to a more suitable trip third-up but will need some luck from the wide alley.
