Verdict

MISO (1) was well out of his ground at Kyneton, but this looks a much easier assignment. He's a major player if he can settle closer. HASTA LA ORIENTAL (6) produced a strong late run to grab second at Bordertown at big odds, and with Walters sticking he shapes as one of the key contenders. WEST CLIFF (4) disappointed last time but his prior two efforts were full of merit. Forgive that run, third-up at a track and trip he enjoys, he can bounce back. MR GEORGE (3) has mixed his form this prep but has the peaks to measure right up. Already a winner here and back to a trip he relishes, he can rebound sharply. AKITU (2) has a solid record second-up and should improve significantly with that run under his belt.
