GIDDY UP BANKCHECK (4) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 6 ½f at Ararat. Has race fitness on his side now and has found a thin contest. Ready. TAAJWAR (5) has been kept fresh with a month between runs and finds a more suitable assignment this time. Has had plenty of chances but this isn't deep. LIBBY ANN (7) is another that finds the breakthrough elusive but does boast a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from five tries. Expected to be competitive. MANDARIN (8) turned in a nice run when fresh from a spell two starts back at Naracoorte but failed to follow it up last time. Fitter and is worth another chance.
