SHIMSHALAR (5) resumes and while she hasn't yet scored first-up, her second and third runs are usually strong, showing she can perform well with fresh legs. Two trials should have her ready, and her late-prep form last campaign stacks up nicely. Bold showing anticipated. AMBELLO (6) is often around the mark but doesn't win out of turn, boasting just three victories. He's ticking along well this prep and finds a winnable contest. Doesn't need to improve much to be right in the finish. MY HARUCONI (8) improved last start when fifth at Murray Bridge. Likely to drift back early but will be charging late. FOX MAN (7) was too bad to be true fresh and can improve sharply with that run under his belt. Worth another chance.
