SPEEDTAIL (1) rattled home into the placings here last start and looks set to peak now after returning from a long break. Drawn better this time and is a major player. THERE GOES MY HERO (3) was solid fresh when resuming over a trip short of his best. Kept fresh with 54 days between runs, he steps out to a more suitable distance and is worth following up despite the sticky draw. NARALINGA (5) has the fitness edge and draws well with Crowther sticking. Doesn't need to improve much to be right in the finish. CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (2) doesn't win often but has been consistent this campaign. Gets in well with the claim and is a genuine each-way chance. EMBELLISHER (4) has returned in good order and will be ridden quietly from the draw before launching late. One to watch charging home.
