Verdict

Always a few chances in these city maidens. FONDLED (10) comes across from Victoria and looks to have some decent credentials. She's got tactical speed and should be able to find a spot in the first two or three from the middle draw. She will take some beating. Things didn't go to plan for MACHINEGUN MIKE (6) last start but his prior runs were solid. He should be able to hold a spot and settle a bit closer from the inside barrier. He is capable of winning this. HIDDEN BOUNTY (11) did enough first-up and will strip fitter for this. The map looks tricky for her but if she can find some cover, she will be hitting the line and could run top three. BELLEZZE (9) is getting closer to a win and deserves some thought, while MONDELLO (12) looks to have ability, although she may get caught wide from the awkward draw.
