CHARLESFORT (7) is ticking along nicely and finally gets the chance to settle much closer. Winning hoop reunites on the quick back-up, and he shapes as one of the leading hopes. BRIMARVI ROSEMARIE (9) broke through two back in town and then produced a sharp closing third in a strong BM58. She's ticking over beautifully and should blend into the race from just off midfield before launching late. CHILLCUZ (11) got too far back at Penola but hit the line well. The draw is ugly, but with genuine tempo and a slice of luck, she can burst through. GIN RUMMY (2) was only fair first-up but will have taken improvement and is far better suited stepping to this trip. Expect a sharper showing.
