Verdict

Looks a nice race for SEPHIA (9) second up. She was off a long spell leading into the first up run at Geelong but hit the line powerfully under 137lbs over 7 ¼f in an encouraging return. She'd shown plenty of ability in town earlier in her career, the only niggle is coming back in trip off that. THE NARRATOR (1) was well beaten right up in grade at Sandown Lakeside last time out but was in good form prior having won in this grade and over this route in May. He should get a decent run midfield and take holding out. FINCHAVEN (8) is a lightly raced mare who is racing well this time in, not all that far off Sephia at Geelong last time. Has to turn the tables there but should be in the mix. ZETHEROS (4) has won two on the bounce across heavy to synthetic surfaces and has to be respected again.
