Verdict

CHARMING DEEL (7) gets the nod. She's racing quite well of late, coming off a let up here having last run second to Dark Simba in a good race at Bendigo. She's nicely placed in this grade now and will be very hard to hold out on the home deck. BIG ROOSTER (3) was well beaten at Murray Bridge last start but had been racing well prior. He should get a nice run from the low gate and that could prove the difference. DRECK (8) just battled at Bendigo but can improve from the inside gate for the Bates/Wilde combination. ASTRADEEL (1) hit the frame two starts ago but couldn't match it last time when sixth over 1 ½m at Sandown-Lakeside. Big weight but drops in class and is in the mix.
