LEI (10) goes on top. The first up run at Echuca was encouraging, getting home nicely for a narrow second having debuted in a hot maiden at Benalla last time in. Fitter now, he should take plenty of holding out. PRINCESS MESS (11) resumes off a very comfortable trial win. She's off a long spell here but was in the market in a couple of stronger maidens last time in. Looks to have come back well for the Payne yard and Egan booked is a plus. I BELIEVE I BELONG (8) resumes for her second campaign having shown glimpses in three runs last time in, not far away in her past two. She draws to track the speed and can have last say. MEKA VIBE (6) is racing consistently this time in. He's had a few chances but rates an each way hope again. BACK OF THE BOAT (1) stuck on well at Geelong last time and that reads well, consider.
