Verdict

Looks a perfect race for ASMITA (8) who has been knocking on the door. Placed this grade fresh then was a near miss last time in slightly tougher grade at Sale, beaten half a length. Should be at top and gets a chance to find winning form again. SHEANADH (1) was back from a long spell over 5 ½f at Wodonga and wound up strongly to score. Has obviously come back very well and will strip even fitter. More weight even after the claim but can go back-to-back. SUGAR SCHNAPPS (4) ran a much better race second-up when fourth in slightly tougher grade at Mornington. This suits and is a third-up winner. Looks ready to fire now. TURNAQUID (5) placed this class at Moe two back then ran well below best last time but did draw an outside gate. Much better gate here and gets a chance to atone. BRAVE CAROL (6) is best on the all-weather but rates well in this line-up.
