The three best supported stand out. CUSHIONED (12) had been well educated and couldn't have been more impressive in placing at Werribee on debut. She settled last and thundered home to just missing an unlikely win. Keeps McNeil and should enjoy a softer run. She's in a top metro barn and is sure to keep improving. ICARO (3) went close at The Heath and Pakenham ($2.6F) before enduring a messy run back at The Heath. He tumbles in weight today with the 9lbs claim and is suited. MONGOLIAN SPRING (7) placed at Donald on debut, when expected to need it. He'd also been given a thorough grounding and should manage the step-up in trip. Egan rides today. DELA BELLA (10) will be around the mark measured on his Pakenham effort two back over a mile.
