PHOENICIAN (4) should be ready to go third up. He's certainly had his fair share of chances being an 18 start maiden but two runs back this time in have been good, jumping sharply in trip to 1 5/16m at Echuca last start, narrowly beaten as favourite. He gets to 1 ?/16m now and draws for every chance. DIAMOND FLASH ONE (2) is another knocking on the door, just finding one better at his past couple. He backed up a solid effort at the Woolamai picnics with a strong showing at Sale (at $61) and a repeat of that goes close. DEVINE GRUNT (1) is relatively lightly raced and presents third up in his second campaign. He got home well for third behind Phoenician last time and can improve again. FEAR NO ONE (3) struggled last time but has claims on best form while GRECIA GIRL (7) can be an improver at her fourth start.
