M'LADY ROSE (4) was well bet last start over 7 ½f at Ballarat when fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Fitter for the three runs back and looks ideally placed here over the longer trip. Winkers have been removed for this and looks ready to fire. HERE COMES RUBY (3) was a winner two back then was safely held when sixth over 1 ¼m at Mornington latest. Back in grade for this and expected to bounce back. NILE CROCODILE (7) is fitter for two runs in and put the writing on the wall when placing in the latest. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. Same goes for NAJLE (9) who is fitter for two runs back and gets a chance to show best. STRIKE FIRST (6) is ticking along well and comes back a notch after finishing fourth last time. Drawn for a good run.
