SEMELLE ROUGE (5) is a lightly raced filly much better than form looks. Has tackled much tougher grade including Stakes class but resumes here after a break well back in grade and on the back of some good jump-outs. Expected to go close this company. STEWART (11) has won two of his last five. Won at Werribee two back then was not far away when fifth latest here over 5 ½f. Close to the winner and drawn to feature again. FLAT CHAT (6) is a lightly raced mare with some good form and did win here when last resuming. Low draw and can feature in the finish if on song. TORVEGA (10) placed 2/2 when fresh and did win only try here. One of the main hopes. LAKE GILLEAR (3) has been well beaten in his last two but can improve sharply.
