FURTHEREST POINT (5) has a tricky draw to contend with but he looks one of the more progressive stayers in the race and should be ready to go third-up from a spell. The step up in trip also looks right up his alley. WINSTON (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1 ¼m at Ballarat, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. ZEYNO (10) strode forward early from her wide draw over 1 ¼m at Cranbourne last time before fading to finish seventh. Might pay to forgive that run, because the start prior was good and she's always shaped as though this trip would suit. SILVER PLEDGE (3) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1 ¼m at Wangaratta. Should be near his peak for this. Has the class to take this out. GENRICHERO (2) has been beaten a long way in recent starts, but boasts one of the best overall records in the race and will appreciate the drop in grade.
