They will go hard which will suit the big finish of ASMITA (7). Resumed on the synthetic at Pakenham and after drifting back came with a powerful run to place. Has good credentials for this having placed 2/3 when second-up and only try course and distance. Looks tough to stop. FLYING MEAN (5) ran well to place this trip two back then stretched to 6f last time and was off best. Back to the sharper race and gets a chance to atone. LEANTOTHEMOON (3) is a former NSW galloper who is rarely far away and sure to be well fancied. Placed 2/3 fresh and comes off a recent trial win. Can run well first try for the new yard. MACHINIST (4) was solid fresh in the same race as Asmita finishing fourth. Fitter and has upside. MIDNIGHT DEVIL (1) has good pace and will take catching this sharper trip.
