Verdict

Another open contest where SAVANNAH CHILL (6) should go close if runs up to recent figures in some richer races. Placed on the Pakenham synthetic two back then was off best there last time when midfield. First try at the mile but looks suited here and expected to go close. FEARLESS WRITER (9) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic. Will spot a start but watch for her late. Main danger. GREAT PROSPERITY (3) doesn't win out of turn but is rarely far away and has placed only try course and distance. That was behind Auto Max and meets the winner 4lbs better. Kept fresh since and can turn the tables off the low draw and with Rawiller aboard. AUTO MAX (2) has been a bit plain in the run since but was a course-and-distance winner two back and has top-three claims. MARGIE'S BOY (1) is hard to beat on his best form and will find this easier than recent runs.
