JENNI POPPINS (11) started favourite last time out over 7f at Sale but found one better, making it three minor placings from three starts this campaign. Peak fitness now and suited up to this trip. The gun draw is the icing on the cake. THE CHARLATAN (9) returned last time with a solid second at Donald over 1m after being prominent at the bend. Can only be better for that and will be strong late. Just a matter of whether he gets too far back from that gate. SHE'S ASTUNNERARCH (12) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1m at Wangaratta after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. OVERPRICED (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in second over 1m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NGONGOTAHA (6) has been improving with each run and looks suited out in trip.
