Moody-Coleman-trained CONFLICT (3) resumed off a promising maiden preparation with a dominant win over 5 ½f at Geelong, heavily bet. Sparingly raced and is sure to keep improving. Maps for the run of the race, and Pozman stays aboard and claims 3lbs today. COME ALONG JEFFREY (2) resumes for new trainer Jamie Edwards. Showed some ability in South Australia when last in work, and will be forward for this after two recent wins at the Geelong jumpouts. Has the inside barrier and can come back much improved. MANDRAKI (4) resumes for a top metro stable and was last seen at the races winning a Swan Hill Maiden. Has a handy barrier and a 3lbs claim and has impressed at the Pakenham jumpouts. Is sure to run well. VALIDATED (1) resumes and is much better than the form-line suggests. Has switched from a South Australian yard and has raced well in stronger than this. Has had three jumpouts and races well fresh. The 9lbs claim brings him into it.
