BRAZENGA (1) led under pressure then called on all reserves to just get home last start over 6 ½f at Geelong. Burdened with 63kgs but Maher has opted not to claim. Can roll along in front and prove tough to catch again. KING ALLA (8) has showed pace but struggled to finish off some longer assignments of late. Best figures stack up nicely and this shorter trip might be what the doctor ordered. HUBRISTIC (12) is third-up today after a couple of modest efforts in shorter races this prep. Placed at her only try over today's journey. Solid chance down in the weights. TRIOMPHE (4) made it three minor placings on the bounce when an eye-catching third over 6 ½f at Stawell recently. Should race a bit closer today with the blinkers going on. Strong each-way chance. ARTPARK (7) didn't run a strong mile last start and is worth another chance in this more suitable assignment.
