SHE'S STARGAZING (2) raced on the speed then dug deep to record a narrow win last start over 1m at Swan Hill. Steps up sharply in distance but she is a lightly raced filly who is bred to stay. Capable of conquering this new challenge. MOZU MARCASSIN (1) hasn't won for 60 weeks but recent efforts have been encouraging. Went close two back at Ballarat then took on a better race last time and battled on well over 1 ¼m at Cranbourne. In the right race to play a major role. OLYMPIAD (3) was racing for just the second time in 11 weeks when a modest fourth over 1 ¼m at Stawell recently. Fitter today and should be in the finish. On-pacer PIANTA (12) has been runner-up at his last three, the latest a desperately close second over 1 ¼m at Naracoorte. Back a little in grade so he gets his chance, although just one win from 31 is a concern. MILADY (10) wasn't far away in a comparable race at Werribee last time. Solid each-way prospects.
