Verdict

CAPE RADSTOCK (11) went back from a wide draw and couldn't get into the race last start over 6 ½f at Bendigo. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and finds the line like a horse that needs this trip. Gets her chance in a race that lacks depth. CONVAAYA (5) returns from a 24-week spell. Opened the maiden prep with a couple of nice efforts in the 1300-7 ?f range which earned a crack at a stakes race. Has been to the jump-outs twice so should be forward enough to run a big race. IMMORTAL ONE (8) began awkwardly before making late ground to finish fifth last time out over 6f at Donald. Gets to this trip for the first time which looks a positive move. THE LADY VENUS (10) has hit career-best form at her last couple of runs, beaten under a length on each occasion. Steps up a little in distance which will suit. MENZIES CREEK (6) disappointed at Terang last time but is worth another chance with the blinkers applied for the first time.
