BEST TERMS (1) resumes after finishing in the money over 7 ½f at Ballarat five months ago. He didn't miss a placing last time in and has trialled well for the return, very hard to beat up on speed. BLUE VALENTINE (6) is poised to win after placing at her last four outings, most recently when second over 6f at Mt Gambier. Not much harder here and should go close. BACK UP BARBIE (5) showed good early speed last start over today's journey at Mildura before finishing second, beaten 4 lengths. Rock-hard fit and looks an each-way chance. SHUJINKO (3) turned in a better run last start, beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth over 7f at Coleraine. Had a few chances but is going well enough to figure. WHISKEY AND WAR (13) can run well on debut for the Kearney yard.
