Verdict

LITTLE ALLY BAMA (10) comes through a hot maiden won by Fringilla who is favourite in a G3 at Caulfield on Saturday. She closed off well for third there despite being beaten six lengths and this looks to suit. COURTING (9) is a clear danger off a couple of minor placings, solid to the line at Ballarat over 1 ¼m last time. Settles in front of the main danger and goes close. UNDER CONTROL (8) struggled at Ballarat last time but had been good prior and can improve. VADAR (4) was huge odds fresh but not terrible at Cranbourne in a decent maiden, he can improve. EMPRESS OF CHINA (6) can sneak into the first four.
