Well placed with a 9lbs claim and can win for the premier stable. Stablemate REGAL SURGE (1) closed off strongly last start, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 7f at Terang when coming back from a break. Has the rail and should be handy in the run. Will present fitter and is sure to go close. BANCOORA (3) finished second last start over 7 ¾f at Mt Gambier, beaten 1.5 lengths. Returned to form, and that number stacks up. Has to be considered. HABITEIN (4) resumed at Warrnambool in stronger and needed the outing. He's suited by the step up in trip and maps well. Has been kept on the fresh side and is likely to race well.
