Verdict

PURE PASSION (11) is heading the right way with her form, and though she has a long way to go before repaying her near million dollar price tag as a yearling, she may have found the right race here. The slight rise in class will see her drop 4lbs, and from a good gate, we put her on top. IT'S A YES (9) has been a beaten favourite twice since winning second up at Geelong, and he too will appreciate having 4lbs less than last time, when he finished fourth on a 2-day backup. The extra space between starts here will do him no harm, and another honest effort is on the cards. YUKAINA (7) was an easy winner of his first 2 career starts, and then overdid it in front at his next start off a spell before being put aside to mature. He resumes with a couple of jump-outs under his belt, and will be ready to rumble. Follow any market confidence. FLYING EMBERS (2) has recently joined the Tom Dabernig stable from Sydney, and she has won a recent jump-out. Keep her very safe on all quaddie tickets.
