HE'S ELECTRIC (3) was thereabouts last time out when second at Warrnambool over 1 ¼m, beaten one length when specked at long odds. Even better for that run and couldn't have hoped to find a better race. CONVAAYA (1) will probably start favourite and just looking at his form it is easy to see why, but there have to be doubts about his intestinal fortitude. Looked to have the race shot to bits at the 1f last Monday but didn't go on with it, not for the first time. He's obviously a winning chance but couldn't possibly take short odds. DIOSCURI (2) hadn't done a lot until last start but ran a much-improved race and can go on with it now. DEVOTED TO YOU (7) has a little more upside than most in this race and should be peaking here fourth-up.
