BRUTALINA (1) narrowly on top in a tough finish. She won narrowly over this track and distance (and in this grade) two starts back as favourite in a good effort before battling on heavy ground at Pakenham last time in a bunched finish. A soft track should be fine if we get into that and she can bounce back. ZORRO'S FLIGHT (4) resumes. He didn't fire last time in but is better than that with strong 3yo form over a touch further. Look for a much better run. RUSSIAN DUCHESS (11) resumes. She's a lightly raced filly who has shown ability and can sprint well fresh. GODTFRED KIRK (5) ran a good race first up at Pakenham to grab second with improvement to come. Up in trip suits and he'll be charging late from a sticky gate. BREAK THE TABOO (13) worked home well into third when last seen at Seymour and won't need to improve much to be winning here.
