Good race but BELLA VERONA (2) looks the clear one to beat again. She promised plenty in her maiden campaign with an arrogant win on debut then was a moral beaten in town. She resumed with a soft win at Bendigo and looks set to go on with it. LYRICS 'N' SONG (5) didn't handle the very heavy going fresh then bounced back with a good win at Seymour over a handy one. Like her to this trip now, she'll give a sight again. CHARMING DEEL (6) is coming off a good win when last seen here over 1 ¹/16m and has been given a let-up since. Back in trip the niggle but she can box on late. DIAMOND EYE (7) has won two on the bounce but is another off a let-up. She's progressing nicely and has claims again.
