OMNIC (14) is the emergency, but is right in contention if he sneaks a run after a nice run at Donald, where the winner was a horse fancied in a race at Flemington on Saturday. That was his first run the Victorian way of going, so he'll be better for that experience and while his winning strike-rate is poor he's going well enough land win No 2. CALEANA (6) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when half a length away in second over 1 ¹/16m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. CHAMPAGNE JENNI (1) ran a nice race at the first start for a new stable last time and has won second-up in the past. CEREMONIOUS (7) got the confidence back at the picnics two back but backed that up in 62 grade here last start, when beaten in a photo. IMPENDING SWAN (13) broke her maiden last start over 1m at Donald, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Harder this time but still one to consider.
