Verdict

If CROSSOVERKID (1) finds his best form he'll be too good for these. Was disappointing last start when hard in the market, but that followed a handy first-up run when beaten less than a length in 62 grade. This is much easier than that and with the benefit of those two runs he deserves to be considered the testing material. KING ALLA (8) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish a 3.5-lengths fourth last start over 1m, which followed a strong win in this grade. Only needs to run up to that to be a key player here. GYMKHANA (2) is one whose form is better than it appears for a race of this nature. Three of his past four runs have been in 62 grade and he finished fourth in the only go at this grade. RICKY RUNS (3) has raced as consistently as he ever has across the past two campaigns, so there's no reason he won't feature here. FASHION FIGHTER (6) beat King Alla three back, so he's good enough.
