MEET THE PRINCE (11) had a good run at Manangatang 9 days ago and stuck on bravely for second by a neck as the favourite. The blinkers are off for his first test over ground, and he can measure up again. MUSICAL JOURNEY (12) did not help himself by making a slow start at Kilmore 3 weeks ago, and he never recovered. The key here is the step up from 7 ¼f to 1 5/16m, and he can bounce straight back into the money here. UNDER CONTROL (9) was runner-up here in her penultimate start, and then had no luck in a tougher field at Ballarat nearly 3 weeks ago. She is worth another chance at decent odds. JUST BASIL (3) ruined his chances with a slow start at Tatura, and his second at Sale prior is the guide to use. Don't drop him.
