Verdict

SILVASISTA (2) is a talented filly who jumped $3.6 last time out in the tougher Clare Lindop (Laelia) Stakes over 1m at Morphettville, but disappointed (vet cleared). Settled too far back, a slow tempo against. Had been tracking well prior and went to Adelaide off a placing in a Caulfield Open 3. She has the blinkers on for the first time and should appreciate the step-up to a middle distance. MY UNCLE DID IT (1) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2.5 lengths win over 1 ?m at Ararat last time. Won by 4.5L from the front over this trip at Terang prior, and the in-form Meech sticks. Draws low and will give a big sight. AURORA RISE (4) raced well at Stakes level in Tasmania and then was heavily-backed over 1 ¼m at Albury, and didn't have much luck beaten 3.5 lengths. Blinkers go on today, and she has had a tick-over trial. Keep onside. Ditto VIZIE (8), who maps well and has been within range without winning. CRACK A DEEL (6) is a likely improver.
