CAVERN (3) impressed first-up at Sale then raced wide and pulled up lame so his failure over this distance at Seymour last start can be overlooked. Can turn things around. Stablemate MAYA'S ACE (6) jumped awkwardly and was last on settling then unleashed late to get up for second in a flashing light run last time out over this distance at Sale. Can settle closer from this good draw and she looms as a genuine threat. FOREVER WITH NED (7) started favourite when and had every chance but found a couple better over 5 ½f at Stawell recently when second-up from a spell. Bolted in at her only other third-up run. Wide gate notwithstanding she is a definite contender. MEISHO (14) stalked the pace then let down too well for his BM56 rivals over today's journey at Mornington recently. Loves this trip and should give a good account again. TERRACOTTA ROSE (9) was a shade disappointing at Werribee last start but is worth another chance at the third run back.
