Verdict

THE STORYTELLER (2) was big odds first up here but ran very well in a much stronger race on Cup day, beaten under a length in BM84 company. This trip should only suit better and while he jumps in the weights, he draws for every chance and looks well placed. KARBURAN (1) is finding it tough to win but has been racing fairly well, solid in a much tougher race two back at Flemington, fading late over this route last time. He'll push on again and if left along he'll take plenty of catching. EAGLE ANGEL (3) notched up his second career win with a tough effort at Geelong last time out. He was only second up there and is open to further improvement from a good draw. JEALOUS (7) is knocking on the door with back-to-back placings. She needs things to go her way given her racing pattern but has claims again. MY ROCA FELLA (5) continues to race well and can stick on for a top-three finish.
